Toronto, we’re officially landing.
On September 20, 2026 (Sunday, 4–7PM), Junk Journal & Yap is hosting a cozy, creative paper gathering in the city, and this one marks an important chapter in our growth.
This isn’t just a meet-up, it’s our Canadian debut..!
Co-hosted with @lovesam.o, this gathering brings together paper lovers, journal keepers, scrapbookers, and curious creatives for an afternoon of layering, storytelling, and real conversation.
What Is a Junk Journal & Yap Meet Up?
It’s simple:
Bring your journal. Use curated scrap packs. Create layered spreads.
Meet new friends. Yap in between.
No experience needed.
Whether you’ve been journaling for years or you just bought your first notebook last week, this space is for you. We believe junk journaling is about texture, memory, and story, not perfection!

Junk Journal & Yap started as a small local gathering, just scraps, paper, and conversation around a table. Now we’re building something global.
Toronto is part of our international creative expansion, alongside activations in Portugal and the Philippines, and each city helps shape the movement.
The goal isn’t scale for the sake of scale. It’s community in different corners of the world.
