Bring JJY to Your Event - Host a Junk Journal & Yap Workshop
Bring Junk Journal & Yap to your community, gathering, or creative event.
JJY workshops are guided junk journaling sessions designed to help people slow down, connect, and create together. Whether your guests are completely new to journaling or already love paper crafts, these sessions are designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and beginner-friendly.
Participants explore storytelling through paper, vintage ephemera, and creative materials while enjoying the simple joy of making something with their hands. Each workshop blends creativity, conversation, and a little bit of creative chaos in the best way.
If you’re looking for a creative activity that encourages connection, curiosity, and self-expression, a Junk Journal & Yap workshop might be exactly what your event needs.

What Happens at a JJY Workshop
Each session is designed to be approachable, creative, and fun, even for people who have never tried junk journaling before.
Participants will:
• learn the basics of junk journaling
• explore vintage papers, ephemera, and creative materials
• create their own personalized journal spread
• discover simple storytelling techniques through paper and writing
• connect with others through creativity and conversation
By the end of the session, everyone leaves with a finished journal spread and new inspiration for their own creative practice.
No experience is needed. JJY workshops are intentionally beginner-friendly and focused on enjoyment rather than perfection.

About the Host
Junk Journal & Yap was created as a way to bring people together through creativity, storytelling, and paper.
