April 2026 Meet Up - 2 Dates!

Join Junk Journal and Yap for our April Spring Hang Out, a cozy, community-centered gathering where creativity meets purpose.

This month we are partnering with Love for Our Elders, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has sent over one million handwritten letters to lonely elderly people around the world. Every month they share real profiles of real elders who are waiting for mail. On April 12 our community is writing to them together.

The evening has two parts. First you will choose an elder from the Love for Our Elders April profiles, read their story, and write them a personal handwritten spring letter. Then you will decorate a beautiful spring envelope using your kit materials and create a companion journal page to keep for yourself. A record that you made something for someone else. All letters are stamped and collected at the end of the evening and mailed out together.

This is not a workshop or a class. There is no instruction required and no creative experience needed. It is a hang out with heart.
