Hi friend! Bring your little one and their wildest imagination to their very first junk journal workshop. Little Yappers is a beginner-friendly, story-driven class made just for kids who love to cut, paste, and create something completely their own, taught on Saturday, June 13 at the Anaheim Packing District.
Over 90 cozy minutes together, your kiddo will build their very own junk journal from scratch using the LAYER Method, the same signature framework I teach grown-ups, scaled down and sprinkled with extra fun for little hands. They will lay their base pages, add textures and scraps, choose their hero pieces (think favorite stickers, photos, and washi tape), and finish with the tiny details that make the journal completely theirs.
No experience needed. No rules to follow. Just paper, glue, and the joy of making something that tells their story.

A grown-up is required at this one. Little Yappers is built as a parent + kid experience. A parent or caregiver needs to stay for the full 90 minutes and is welcome to jump in, help cut, hand over the glue, or make their own pages alongside their little one. Crafting together is the whole point. |
WHAT'S IN THE KIT
Every Little Yapper goes home with a kit packed full of the good stuff.
✿ A handmade junk journal base. Pre-bound and ready to fill, with mixed papers, kraft pages, and a soft cover that feels special from page one.
✿ A bundle of curated ephemera. Vintage-look ticket stubs, mini envelopes, tags, stamps, and pretty paper scraps in JJY's signature warm palette.
✿ Stickers, stickers, and more stickers. A sticker pack of kid-favorites, plus a Little Yappers exclusive sheet you can only get at the workshop.
✿ Access to all the tools they need. Kid-safe scissors, glue sticks, gel pens, and markers to use during class and borrow as needed.
✿ Their finished journal to take home. Every page made by them, ready to keep growing long after the workshop ends.
WHAT TO BRING
✿ Just yourselves, and a willingness to get a little glue on your fingers
✿ A printed photo or two if your kiddo wants to make an "all about me" page (totally optional)

✿ Recommended for ages 7 to 12
✿ A parent or caregiver is required to stay for the entire workshop
